Welcome to My Brigadeiro. We are grateful that you are here and excited to bring handcrafted joy from our kitchen to yours. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using any services we offer, you agree to the following terms and conditions Please read them carefully.

1. Handmade Artisan Products

Our chocolates are individually handcrafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. As a result:

  • Products may vary slightly in shape, size, decoration, or packaging
  • Brigadeiros are fresh and contain no preservatives
  • Proper handling and timely consumption are recommended

Visual differences do not qualify as defects.

2. Ordering & Payment

  • Orders are confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed
  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Sales tax is applied where required by law

If you have questions about your order, please contact us right away — we are always happy to help.

3. Production & Shipping

  • All orders require up to 2 business days to prepare
  • Orders are shipped Monday–Thursday to reduce weekend delay risks
  • Shipping transit times are determined by the carrier
  • Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information

Once a package is transferred to the carrier, delivery timing is no longer within our control.

4. Warm-Weather & Fragile Item Disclaimer

We take precautions with insulated packaging and ice packs when needed. However:

  • Heat exposure may cause melting or softening
  • Improper handling by carriers may affect product condition

We do not refund or replace items due to heat or transit-related damage.

5. Allergies & Food Safety

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Milk
  • Tree nuts
  • Peanuts
  • Soy
  • Coconut
  • Gluten

Cross-contamination is always possible. It is the customer’s responsibility to review ingredients and allergen information before ordering.

If you have severe allergies, please consider your purchase carefully.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable and handcrafted nature of our products:

  • All sales are final once shipped
  • No returns are accepted
  • Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos

If there is a quality concern caused by our production process, we will evaluate and offer a reasonable solution at our discretion.

7. Lost, Stolen or Delayed Packages

Once the carrier confirms possession of the package:

  • Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser
  • We are not responsible for delays, theft, or mis-delivery
  • Please file claims directly with the carrier if needed

We will assist when possible, but replacements or refunds are not guaranteed.

8. Use of Website & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including photos, videos, artwork, text, packaging designs, and brand trademarks — is the property of My Brigadeiro, LLC.

  • You may not copy, sell, reproduce, or modify any content
  • Unauthorized commercial use is strictly prohibited

10. Chargebacks & Fraud

Submitting a chargeback after confirmed delivery or consumption of products is considered fraudulent. We reserve the right to:

  • Dispute unfair or inaccurate chargebacks
  • Deny future purchases
  • Pursue legal remedies if necessary

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New Hampshire.
